Brightsparks, an industry-leading marketing agency specialising in behaviour change for social good, is seeking a new Creative Lead to provide direction and leadership across all our creative output.

This new role will ensure that Brightsparks produces high quality creative work that meets the needs of clients, by managing the creative studio and their workload, and leading creative direction and inspiration for the Agency as a whole. This is a permanent, full-time contract.

The role will work on a hybrid basis with dedicated time required each week in our York city centre office as well as opportunity for remote working too. All of the projects we work on are social purpose projects, so this represents a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in people's lives every day.

Brightsparks works extensively in the areas of marketing, campaigns, creative and consultancy projects with organisations like NHS trusts, local authorities and national and international charities and NGO's.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Act as the creative lead on work delivered by the Agency, consistently delivering excellent, impactful creative products that meet or exceed our client's requirements.
- Effectively lead, manage and resource the creative studio within Brightsparks. Manage and assess briefs and liaise with designers and Account and Project teams to ensure that the agency can work with agility to deliver creative outputs on time, on budget and to a consistently high standard.
- To represent the agency and our creative work in creative discovery and pitch meetings, working collaboratively with our internal teams and clients to ensure creative work is ambitious, engaging and meets their aims.
- Be accountable for the execution of bold, ambitious creative work created by yourself and the creative team, providing direction and quality assurance to internal and associate team members.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication across project teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent alignment and visibility.
- Support the production of creative work from inception through to handoff using a full suite of creative tools and systems.
- Encourage and inspire creative ambition, bold thinking, and unexpected ideas that have impact for our clients.
- Stay current with industry trends and design innovation, proactively conduct market research, and regularly suggest new ideas.
- Provide effective leadership, management and accountability to a varied team of staff and associates.
- Quality assure all creative output from the studio.
- Support BSA’s business development activities.

**Required Experience**:

- Minimum eight years’ experience, at least three of which in a senior role, successfully delivering creative work on multiple projects across different print and digital formats.
- Three years’ experience of staff management
- Five years’ experience of briefing and commissioning freelancers/creative specialists.

**Reporting to**:Account Director

Pay: Up to £45,000.00 per year
