About the role;
Here at QinetiQ we have a unique and exciting opportunity to join our dedicated Air Traffic Management team on a permanent basis.

What will I be doing?

QinetiQ Air Traffic Management Team provides independent advice on regulatory, technical and safety matters to support operational concepts and aviation technology systems including Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS) and Air Traffic Control Systems (ATC) (both existing and proposed).

What do I need?

Sound knowledge of UK and Atlantic Ocean airspace structure and associated Airspace Management organisations;
Sound knowledge of both military and civil airspace authorities, associated regulation, process and procedures;
Proven experience in Air Traffic Management (ATM);
Proven good communication skills written and oral. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc);
Self-motivated and organised individual able to work without supervision to external deadlines - but equally capable of working within a team.

**Desirable**:
Previous recent experience of managing airspace change processes, temporary and or permanent, demonstrating effective stakeholder management experience;
Previous management level experience in Air Traffic Control or associated ATM function;
Evidence of close working relationships with the Military Aviation Authority/CAA.
