We are looking for an established Air Traffic Controller for a Client.

The role:
Providing safe and efficient air traffic control (ATC) services is essential.
ATC aims to move aircraft safely, efficiently, and accurately through the airspace system. The responsibility of Air Traffic Controllers is to provide a safe, orderly, and efficient service to planes following their licensing status.
Managers detail related tasks and administrative duties.

Primary Responsibilities

The following is a list of the primary responsibilities of the post holder. It is important to note that these are not all the duties that must be performed, nor are they listed in order of importance:
Tower control, approach radar (and procedural services), flight information, and alerting services for aircraft operating within a client's area
Understand the equipment and systems used to provide air traffic services and maintain a thorough understanding of them.
As needed, support the appropriate manning of operational positions.
ATC equipment serviceability status should be monitored, recorded, and reported.
- Participate in briefings regarding all known conditions affecting the safety or regularity of air traffic.
Identify failures, abnormal occurrences, or other conditions that pose a safety hazard.
Observe all staff instructions and administrative rules concerning conduct in the operational area.
- Provide operational feedback to management on proposed procedures and system changes.
- Report any operational incidents as and when they occur to active management.
- Practice professionalism and politeness to all users of services and other staff of the airport and neighbouring units.
- Fulfil all other duties related to the role of an Air Traffic Control Officer and administrative tasks as directed by the responsible Manager.
- The post-holder must cooperate with all policies and procedures to ensure employment equality. Co-workers, customers and visitors must be treated equally irrespective of gender, ethnic origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion etc.
- Attend and present at senior management meetings and relevant ad-hoc internal meetings as requested.
- Actively promote ANS to internal and external customers, carrying out all duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner; clearly & effectively communicate with customers & staff.
- Demonstrate the values within the business permanently.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by your Manager.

Personal Specification

Qualifications and Training
- ADI rating (essential)
- APS rating (desirable)
- APP (desirable)
- Single-rated applicants may also be considered.
- A minimum current English language endorsement of level 4
- A current medical certificate

Experience
- Minimum 3 years of operational experience from validation
- Priority will be given to ATCOs with previous APS experience in a similar environment
