Finance Officer

Heartwood Care Group is a successful Social Care provider currently looking to recruit a new Finance Officer to support our shared services finance team based at our head office in Ilford, Essex. The Finance Officer is responsible for processing all financial accounts in relation the services provided within the group of companies, this includes accounts payable ledger, sales ledgers, business banks accounts, customer accounts, supplier accounts and the purchase & sales order process throughout group of companies whilst reconciling and reporting as designated by the Financial Controller.
**Main Accountabilities**:
- Processing weekly financial reports
- Inputting and updating financial data onto online systems (QuickBooks, bespoke database)
- Producing, communicating and chasing invoices for suppliers and customers
- Maintaining effective working relationship with customers and suppliers whist all customer and supplier queries
- Reconciling customer and supplier statements on a regular basis
- Preparing weekly payments for authorisation including issuing of petty cash to services
- Preparing all reports regarding sales ledgers and ageing analysis on a regular basis
- Reconciling group business bank accounts, petty cash and credit cards on a regular basis
- Preparing weekly variance reports to ensure compliance with budgeted costing/hours
- **Experience/Qualification Required**:
- You must have a minimum of 2 years experience within a Financial Accounting role.
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and quickbooks
- Proven communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Strong operational skills with an ability to develop and implement the business plans
- Ability to manage a large work load
- Self sufficient with a can do attitude
**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
