They require an experienced _Media Relations Executive_ to support and maintain the smooth running of the press office. The role involves supporting the day to day communications team, needs and functions and is very much a role for an experienced _Media Relations_ _Executive _who is looking for autonomy in their next role and an outlet for their creativity

You must be a self starter and an excellent communicator who enjoys working with a variety of people.
- **Key Accountabilities**:_
- Develop and deliver media strategies and campaigns
- Develop and deliver media approaches and strategies
- Advise and approve regional media comments, press releases and all media approaches
- Attend team meetings to identify media themes, spokespeople and advise on media approaches
- Develop relationships with ICE spokespeople and national and consumer media
- Manage on going engagement activity with trade and national journalists
- Communication of media coverage to members and stakeholders
- General support and advice to junior members of the communications team& support to director of communications and lead comms manager
- **Key Skills**_**:

- Media strategies and campaigns
- Shape and influence emerging reports
- Identify and mitigate reputational risks
- Confident writer ( press releases, press comments, statements, blogs )
- Spot media opportunities
- **Key Experiences**:_
- Extensive experience of managing workflow of a busy press office ( national, regional & trade media)
- Agency experience to account manager or senior account manager level
- Extensive understanding of social media as a communications tool
- Experience of crisis and reputation management
- Experience of preparing spokespeople for media appearances and interviews
- Experience of a committee structure is desirable
