We are a family-run business with a forward-thinking attitude, dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to children in our residential home. Year on year, we have been growing and expanding our services, and we are now seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join our dynamic team.
As a Senior Residential Support Worker in our children's home, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. Your main responsibilities will include guiding and supervising the support team, ensuring the well-being and development of the children, and creating a positive and supportive atmosphere.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead by example and inspire the support team with your commitment to providing outstanding care.
- Supervise and support residential support staff, offering guidance and training as needed.
- Implement care plans, risk assessments, and individual support plans for each child.
- Foster a warm, supportive, and inclusive environment that promotes the children's personal growth and development.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with children in a residential setting.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring children.
