**THE COMPANY**:
Nicholas Associates are delighted to be recruiting for a Production Team Leader. You will have direct responsibility for the checking, releasing and monitoring of all documentation related to Production operations, including all transactions within the ERP system (M3) to ensure all departmental needs are met.

**THE JOB**:

- Ensuring accurate and approved information / data is used to create all required production documentation as well as any revisions to documentation.
- Providing routine production information / data to the Product Group Manager.
- Maintaining communications between Production & Sales departments.
- Communicating with customers and distributors on a regular basis.
- Crosscheck the sales orders with the ERP system (M3) daily & correct / challenge any unclear data.
- Review works orders within the ERP system, alongside the PGM on a daily basis & plan into production schedule.
- Distribute works orders
- Participate in monthly stock takes, ensuring preparation work is carried out daily and any corrections highlighted and actioned.
- When required, maintain the item master and update production structure /labour (BOMs).
- Communicate any production issues / delays/queries with the Sales department.
- Communicate any purchasing requirements and any delivery issues in a timely manner, using correct paperwork.
- Maintain an organised office filing system.
- Attend and contribute to weekly customer update meetings, if applicable.
- Attend and contribute to daily department meetings.

**THE PERSON**:

- Experience of working in an administrative / planning role, preferably within an Operational/Manufacturing environment.
- Working experience of ERP systems.
- Strong IT skills, working experience with Microsoft Packages, including Excel.
- Working experience in a planning/scheduling department
- Work accurately with great attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including working knowledge of data entry and excel spreadsheets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
