We are currently working with a client that provides Property Management and Development Solutions to a board client base. They are progressive, ambitious and dynamic providing tailor-made solutions with over 20 years’ experience.

Our client is looking to appoint a full-time permanent Purchase Ledger Clerk to support the wider Finance division by managing day to day transactional payments for the business. This role will suit someone looking to take the next step in their career who is full of personality and has a hands-on approach to their career.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensuring the correct VAT payments are made
- Processing monthly payment runs
- Process staff expenses
- Set up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Ensure invoices are input correctly into the system
- Resolve supplier queries
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Review systems and processes and making improvements where necessary

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Experience of Sage would be preferable but not essential
- AAT qualifications would be beneficial, though not essential
- Strong administration skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous knowledge of working in a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable position
- Knowledge of working on excel spreadsheets
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent team working skills
- The ability to work to weekly deadline
