We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of projects in UCEM’s Strategy & Planning Office. This is a growing team which is focussed on delivering UCEM’s strategy and the planning and implementation of business change. UCEM is ambitiousin its plans and this role is a great opportunity to influence UCEM’s journey to become the Centre of Excellence for built environment education.

You’ll support the team’s mission through leadership of a portfolio of projects. This role will initially lead three important projects to improve UCEM’s systems, and we would particularly welcome applicants with experience of delivering projects with changemanagement and business improvement at their core.

Your key responsibilities will centre around:

- Delivering projects you manage against agreed time, cost, scope and quality standards, providing overall project direction and leadership so that project objectives are achieved.
- Supporting the Director of Strategy & Planning to plan the portfolio of projects required to deliver institutional priorities annually in line with the institution’s strategy.
- Providing mentoring and leadership to Project Coordinators in the team.
- Supporting the development and continual improvement of UCEM’s project management capability.

To deliver these responsibilities we need your experience of complex projects and change initiatives. You must be able to develop excellent working relationships with stakeholders as well as project team members, have strong organisational and communicationskills and strong understanding of project management methodologies.
