**Head of Estates & Facilities**

We have an exciting opportunity for a proven senior leader to join the non-teaching staff Senior Leadership Team (SLT), reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), supporting colleagues in the delivery of the schools ambitious, strategic, and operational plan.

The core purpose of the role is to support and manage all estates related aspects across assigned premises within Taunton School, and its subsidiary companies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, whilst maximizing the value added and best use of funds. You will have day to day leadership responsibility for a team which includes the Assistant Head of Estates, the Maintenance Supervisor, The Housekeeping Manager, the Head Grounds person, and the Health & Safety Advisor.

Prior experience in the Education sector is not a prerequisite but you must be able to demonstrate understanding of the independent boarding sector and have a commitment to developing contextual knowledge that fully supports Taunton Schools values and ethos.
