**Full Job Description**

**Imperial Personnel are looking for a Extrusion Operative for our client in Sandtoft.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Day to day running of the extrusion line and booking completed production on Navision from start up to first off production standard according to product specification as outlined in the quality plan. Reporting non compliant production following set processes.
- Performing manufacturing duties using cross skills flexibility (coiler operation, extruder operation, material handling) utilising training given
- attending necessary courses internally and externally as required.
- Taking in deliveries of materials ensuring correct storage process to enable “first in first used” raw material controls.
- Assisting in achieving efficiencies in production through SMART methodologies including production scrap and waste stream.
- Ensure reporting near miss incidents/accidents taking steps to record accurately circumstances influencing incidents accordingly upholding the companies health and safety policies.
- Upholding high standards of professional conduct as expected - including insubordination/breach of health and safety policies/misuse of company equipment/and misconduct as set out in the company handbook/health and safety handbook.
- Performing within the team to ensure high levels of attendance, conduct, and compliance.
- Accurate booking of finished production/scrap and non compliant production on Navision.
- Proactively assisting in ensuring company equipment and plant are maintained and in good condition reporting any faulty or damaged equipment.
- To ensure environmental compliance and improvements.
- Support all activities to ensure continued development and compliance with our ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) requirements.
- Determine and implement continuous improvement to drive efficiencies
- Ensure all agreed policies and processes are followed documenting any non-conformities and positive outcomes
- Review all activities to make a positive impact in reducing overall costs, mitigate health & safety / environmental risks to our staff and customers and create options for development of the activity
- Contributing to shift performance KPI deliverables covering safety, quality, productivity and cost.
- Other duties, as requested, within individual’s ability and competence
- Navision
- Using measuring equipment i.e. micrometres/ vernier callipers/ od tape/ tape measure
- Microsoft Excel / Word

**Shifts**

3 Rotation - days nights and afters.

6am - 2pm

2pm -10pm

10pm - 6am

**Pay**

£11.20 ph.
