**About The Role**:
We are looking for an Assistant Merchandiser
- Home Maintenance.

You’ll support the merchandiser in the planning, purchasing, intake and distribution of merchandise to maximise sales and margin for the department whilst ensuring the smooth day to day running of the department. Ultimately this will lead you to taking responsibility for designated departments.

What will I do as an Assistant Merchandiser?

Develop positive working relationships with all suppliers, ensuring fully conversant with all orders passing through the system working closely with the buying team You'll communicate and work closely with suppliers about the status of orders to help to ensure the critical path is kept up to date and accurate, highlighting any issues to the Merchandiser/Senior Merchandiser Provide support on any administrative duties for the department Review weekly sales performance and stock volumes to identify any opportunities and highlight any issues Prepare any reports requested for weekly trading Assist in the department strategy, demonstrating an understanding of the merchandising figures
