Reed Accountancy are supporting a growing business based in Cannock and assisting with their search to appoint an Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent basis. The Accounts Payable Clerk will receive a salary, between £23,000 - £25,000 depending on experience.

This position will be full time 37.5 - 40 Hours per week and does have the opportunity to work hybrid.

Accounts Payable Clerk duties:

- Ownership and maintenance of purchase ledger
- Daily processing and validation of invoices
- Ensure all invoicing are authorised on time in accordance with business SLA
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Payment runs
- Management of supplier queries
- Update cash book transactions from bank statements
- Month end routine and close off
- Adhoc cover for goods in inspection reports, expense processing, transactional analysis
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer accounting software systems
- Experienced in processing and maintaining entries in accounts payable and general ledgers
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent levels of numeracy and attention to detail
- Well organised and ability to work using own initiative and strong motivation to complete tasks
