Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team. As a Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of childcare professionals in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. Your role will involve overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting the overall well-being and development of the children in our care.
**Duties**:
- Supervise and lead a team of nursery staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate activities and programs for children
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all children in the nursery
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Adhere to all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and ordering supplies
**Requirements**:
- Experience working with children in an early childhood education setting
- Fluent in English (verbal and written communication)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- A genuine passion for working with children and promoting their development
- Knowledge of childcare best practices and current regulations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
