**Job Purpose**:
To drive the Human Resources Department forward by implementing continued ‘Best Practice’ approaches and methods to ensure HR plays a pivotal role in the Company and provides a high level of support across all functions.

**Key Duties**:

- Providing fist line HR advice and support to all Managers for all people related matters including disciplinaries and grievances
- Maintaining the HR and time & attendance systems
- Maintenance of HR folders and systems to be audit ready and ensuring GDPR compliance
- Working closely with the Senior HR Advisor and HR Assistant to ensure an effective service is provided
- Producing Contracts and Offer letters for new starters
- Producing any amendment to contract letters or general HR correspondence
- Maintaining and promoting relationships with the wider people, support colleagues and teams.
- Supporting with investigations for grievances and disciplinary matters
- Supporting and advising on performance management and absence
- Supporting project work including employee engagement and wellbeing and other specific upcoming projects
- Taking minutes in disciplinary and grievance meetings where required
- Liaising with solicitors on employee relations matters
- Managing the recruitment process and Interviews up to management level
- Produce monthly HR reports and ad hoc reports as requested
- Maintaining SEDEX
- Travel between other sites in the group when required for training or meetings
- Providing support with long term sickness by liaising with employees and the occupational health nurse
- Ensuring the return to work process is up to date and reported on
- Ensure that exit interviews are completed for all leavers, compiling the information for analysis.
- Keeping up to date with employment law changes

**Requirements, Experience and Person Specification**:
**Education**
GCSE Maths and English or Equivalent

**Qualification**
CIPD Level 3 or 5

**Competences**
Must have previous experience of working within HR and demonstrate a high level of competence, good administration skills, the ability to multitask and be able to communicate at all levels.
