Strategic Buyer - Fixed-term contract
Working as a Strategic Buyer, you will drive the procurement process for a manufacturing company with a state-of-the-art facility that specializes in designing high-tech products for multiple different industries. This company exports their products globallyand has major business operations located in different UK sites.
This is a 16-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You will support the Purchasing team and Supply chain manager to work with the technical aspects of product purchasing. They are looking for a Strategic Buyer with a can-do attitude willing toprogress long-term.
This company manufactures complex high-tech products of different volumes. You will be responsible for proactively identifying, escalating, and addressing risks to production requirements. Working alongside engineers, you will work to reduce production costsand reduce supply chain risks.
This role requires:

- SAP/MRP or equivalent
- Experience in Procurement within the high-tech industry
