**Vacancy **Maintenance Supervisor

**Location** Based at Queen Anne House, Gonville Place, Cambridge CB1 1ND. Additional work will be required at our other YMCA Trinity Group sites from time to time.

**About the role**

It’s a hands-on role necessitating, good communication skills and the ability to lead and supervise a small team of staff thereby assisting in the provision of a warm, caring and safe environment for young people, employees, volunteers, clients and user groups.

Main duties include;
- Providing support to the maintenance and facilities manager the role is a mix of administration, record keeping and hands on tasks.
- You will be required to supervise a small team of maintenance operatives and cleaners.

Applicants should have the following qualities:

- A good general education and excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in building maintenance and associated trades.
- Be motivated towards own development and that of the team.
- Able to work with young people in a non-judgemental and non-discriminatory way.
- As this role is to be worked across multi sites in Cambridge, driving is an essential criteria. You will require access to your own car with business insurance - travel expenses may be claimed for additional miles

**Days and hours**

40 hours per week - Monday to Friday.

A typical day starts at 8am and finishes at 5pm.

**Salary and Benefits**

In return we offer an annual salary of £29,024 (£13.95 per hour)
