Desktop Technician

Our client based in Guildford are looking for a full-time Desktop Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress into a 2nd line support role. You will be supporting the staff with desktops, mobile phones, printers, plotters andmore. This role could involve travelling to different locations around Surrey and Sussex therefore a full clean driving licence is essential, however a car can be provided for those occasions should you not have a vehicle.
**Key Responsibilities of the Desktop Technician**:

- Delivery of second line IT support, IT maintenance and the delivery of change project work. You would be key to the success of our Desktop Team in.
- Managing a fault queue, prioritising and resolving endpoint issues.
- Involved in IT maintenance and keeping the estate current.
- Handling hardware setup, configuration, and deployment.
- Involved in the rollout of new projects and developing the skills to support them.

**Skills & Experience needed of the Desktop Technician**:

- It is desirable that you are familiar with portable networked devices and associated operating systems, management systems, carriers and mobile services presented to, or installed on, portable devices.
- Applicants must display the ability to work independently with a professional approach.
- The ability to pay attention to detail is essential.
