Baltic Apprenticeships are working with our client based in Guildford, they are looking for a keen and ambitious IT apprentice to join their team. The ideal candidate will be answering client calls and helping to resolve issues with client systems. Training will be provided as well as access to a variety of different systems to learn. This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to break into IT and Cyber Security, as you will gain experience with a variety of IT systems such as servers, desktops, routers, and learning how to secure and support them. You may be required to visit client sites from time to time, due to this you will need your own transport and a full UK driving license.
In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Answering client calls and helping resolve issues with client systems
Daily checks such as checking backups, checking that the backup systems function and that data is safely stored
Working with endpoint security software to ensure that client machines are protected and all threats resolved
Providing remote support and on-site support to clients by troubleshooting networking, hardware and software issues
Installation and configuration of hardware, software and networking appliances
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm
20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
Due to the nature of this role you will need to have a full UK Driving license and your own transport
A keen interest in IT
A can do attitude and be confident to ask for help and guidance
Grade 5/C in GCSE English and Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Technician.
