**Fleet Mechanic - Daventry**

We are recruiting for a Fleet Mechanic to join the team on a full time, permanent basis You will be responsible for carrying out all repairs on a variety of machines efficiently and on time.

**Duties**
- Undertaking inspections on vehicles, plant and associated equipment and diagnosing faults
- Repairing and maintenance on vehicles, plant and associated equipment
- Ensuring the fleet is in full operation
- Updating vehicle service records
- Travel to other depots / sites and to vehicle breakdowns across the UK
- On call rota (1 in 3 weekends)
- We have a full fleet of; Unimog’s, Excavators, Woodchippers, Chainsaws, Green Climbers, Strimmers, Mowers, Fleet vehicles, Remote Controlled machines, Loaders

**Requirements**:

- Full apprenticeship pass
- City & Guilds OR NVQ qualification (Level 2 Motor Vehicle Maintenance)
- Ability to work on HGVs
- Experience of hydraulic and electrical diagnostics
- Full Driving License

**Details**
- Monday to Thursday, 7am - 5pm
- Fridays, 7am - 4pm
- Regular overtime paid at time and a half (evenings and weekends)
- Immediate start available
