Fleet Mechanic - Daventry


We are recruiting for a Fleet Mechanic to join the team on a full time, permanent basis You will be responsible for carrying out all repairs on a variety of machines efficiently and on time.


Duties

  • Undertaking inspections on vehicles, plant and associated equipment and diagnosing faults
  • Repairing and maintenance on vehicles, plant and associated equipment
  • Ensuring the fleet is in full operation
  • Updating vehicle service records
  • Travel to other depots / sites and to vehicle breakdowns across the UK
  • On call rota (1 in 3 weekends)
  • We have a full fleet of; Unimog's, Excavators, Woodchippers, Chainsaws, Green Climbers, Strimmers, Mowers, Fleet vehicles, Remote Controlled machines, Loaders

Requirements:

  • Full apprenticeship pass
  • City & Guilds OR NVQ qualification (Level 2 Motor Vehicle Maintenance)
  • Ability to work on HGVs
  • Experience of hydraulic and electrical diagnostics
  • Full Driving License

Details

  • Monday to Thursday, 7am 5pm
  • Fridays, 7am 4pm
  • Regular overtime paid at time and a half (evenings and weekends)
  • Immediate start available
