Veritas Education are recruiting for the role of an SEN Primary School Teacher for a great School in Lancaster.

The specialist Primary School, support in a welcoming environment, for students aged 4-11 with complex barriers to learning, including autism and learning disabilities.

Due to staff shortages the school are looking for a qualified Teacher to support with daily cover. You would be expected to cover throughout the school and sometimes being flexible in last minute to cover lessons.

The position with Veritas Education is a full time role and would last the full academic year.

Main responsibilities will include:

- Executing tailored lesson plans
- Tailoring the curriculum to specific special educational needs
- Engaging pupils to ensure they are on track with their development
- Reporting back on performance to promote best practice
- Teacher qualified
- Flexible and confident to cover lessons for all age groups
- Previous SEN experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the wellbeing of children with SEN
- Good understanding of the national curriculum

To be considered for the role of SEN English Teacher, an enhanced DBS Certificate may need to be carried out as well as satisfactory references being taken.

Veritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.

All pay rates that are offered will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. Our working opportunities include temporary positions, permanent contracts and ad-hoc supply.
