A multi-site operation, situated in **Holbeach Hurn** and **Fosdyke **Lincolnshire, we consist of a 6,500 acre farming operation, joint ventures in fresh produce and four factories, employing over 600 people that package fresh, wholehead and prepared vegetables for wholesale and high-street retailers.

**The Role**
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Planner & Stock Controller** to join our Team in Holbeach Hurn, working **40 hours per week** on a **Monday to Friday** shift pattern.

You will play a vital role within our business by compiling daily and weekly production plans for dedicated production units and working on demand planning. This will include collating and reporting on a flexible set of KPIs to include attainment to plan (volumetric), forecast vs actual order accuracy and service level.

You will be responsible for managing all ingredients on site, monitoring inventory level through regular stock control, comparing the usage to the actual orders and forecasting and highlighting any discrepancies to the buyer. Shop floor presence will be essential to understand manufacturing processes and any scope for continuous improvement within planning and ingredient usage, always looking at cost reduction and process improvement.

**Duties to include**:

- Creation of daily and weekly production plans
- Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production
- Communicating with other departments regarding production schedules and any possible changes
- Providing clear instructions to the logistics team regarding stocks and delivery schedules
- Using computer technology relating to enterprise resource planning
- Collation of data for KPI reporting
- Capacity modelling for standard and seasonal volumes
- Review and update daily plans to ensure lines are on target, set up a daily production catch up meetings to talk through performance and tomorrow’s plan
- Receive and record daily orders, raising works orders for Rubicon
- Create and present data for Planning, Sales & Operations Planning & seasonal planning meetings
- Share daily and weekly plans with production teams
- Stock control and ingredients management
- Any other business unit specific tasks

**About you**
- Proven experience in production planning or a related field within manufacturing
- Able to manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and flexible
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- IT literate
