Are you a Commis Chef looking to enhance your skills in a new opportunity? Or an experienced Kitchen Porter eager for the next step?
We are currently recruiting for a number of Commis Chefs in a well-known venue in the Birmingham area.
Commis Chef duties include
- Assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen preparation areas
- Prepare and finish specific dishes to the highest standards
- Assisting with producing menu ideas
- Ensuring all kitchen equipment is in good working order and all stored away with great care
- Keeping the storerooms are well stocked and organised at all times
- Checking food products are received and stored according to company procedure

The ideal Commis Chef will
- Have previous experience within a similar role
- Be able to work well in a pressured environment
- Work well in a team
- Be creative but also can follow instructions and recipes well
- Have a good understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and kitchen procedures

As Commis Chef you will be paid from £21,000-£23,500 per annum as well as a large number of excellent benefits such as paid breaks, discounted public transport, 24 hour discounted gym membership, huge career development opportunities.
