Rapid Recruit are recruiting an experienced Stock Controller to join our clients team based in Nelson.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, tracking stock movement, monitoring stock levels and identifying discrepancies
- Ensuring inventory levels are sufficient and initiating replenishment orders when necessary
- Inspecting incoming stock for damage or defects and ensuring that all products meet quality standards
- Generating reports on stock levels, stock turnover rates and inventory costs
- Utilizing the company van to safely transfer stock between sites as required
- Operating a forklift to manoeuvre and transport goods around the site
- Arranging stock, labelling shelves and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace
- Collaborating closely with Warehouse personnel, Supervisors and Production Planners.
- Previous experience in a stock control, warehouse administration role or similar
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer software (e.g. SAP, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driving licence, FLT is also preferred but not essential.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm at £12.94 per hour.
