We are looking for a Procurement Assistant to work from our head office in Worcester. You will be responsible for:

- Prepare and issue small material orders
- As and when necessary, obtain material quotations in accordance with the Site Team’s/Contract requirements
- Provide support into invoice dispute resolution
- Process orders using term deals
- Making card payments over the phone for small transactional requirements
- Reconcile Purchase cards with coding and upload VAT invoices
- Support Procurement with the governance process to maintain templates and liaise with relevant approvers to explain to package approvals required and obtain signatures
- Support Head of Procurement with completion of Sub-Contract award processes
- To provide a complete administration function as required
- Produce reports as required

**About you**:

- Experience of working in the construction industry preferable but not essential.
- Some procurement or buying experience preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience of prioritising a varied workload.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Friendly and helpful attitude
- Ability to ask for help
