**The Role**

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the Sleaford office of Sills & Betteridge for a confident and capable individual to join the team as an Apprentice Office Assistant. The role will include general administrative duties to include secretarial roles and some reception cover.

All applicants must have Maths and English GCSE’s at grade A-C or levels 4-9. We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual with strong communication skills both written and verbal. An excellent telephone manner is a requirement. No previous experience is necessary for this role as full training will be provided but a mature, can-do attitude is essential.

**Duties**

The role will include but is not limited to:

- opening and closing files;
- being responsible for filing;
- receiving and effectively dealing with client calls;
- photocopying and scanning;
- preparation of invoices and letters;
- typing duties using the Firm’s digital dictation system;
- covering reception in line with the branch rota;
- cheque printing and creating accounts slips;
- maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times.

**Skills**
- have (as a minimum) GCSE grades A-C or level 4-9 including Maths and English;
- possess excellent organisational skills;
- possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
- have a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude;
- have a willingness to learn; and
- be confident and able to work off own initiative.
