Working closely alongside the clinical teams, the MDT Coordinator helps to identify patients who are required for discussion at the weekly MDT meetings. The MDT Coordinator is responsible for collating the necessary information for each patient to be presented and discussed on the agenda. Ensure the Vascular MDT meeting room is set up and that all clinical notes are available for an effective discussion. Accurately live type the MDT outcomes during the meeting.

Ensuring that actions from the Vascular MDT Meeting are accurately transposed to the patients records and outcomes are distributed to the relevant teams. Assist with the scheduling of Vascular surgery and support all aspect of the patients pathway including working closely with the secretaries on the organisation of clinic appointments and diagnostic tests. Utilising multiple hospital systems to assist with patient tracking, systems including IPM, EPRO, PENS, DASHBOARD, CRIS, ICE, TEAMS & E-XCHANGE. The post holder will be the point of contact for all MDT issues relating to patients pathway of care, working alongside consultants, as well as working with colleagues based at other Trusts.

The day to day working relationships include interacting with patients as well as a range of clinical and not clinical staff and therefore the ability to work in a team is essential. Ensure that the administration of the department is efficient, effective and responsive (e.g. dealing with queries, correspondence and day-to-day issues). Ensure that an excellent level of customer care is delivered to patients and members of the Respond to ad hoc requests for patient information and queries from colleagues and surgeons.
