About your team

Fidelity’s Stock Plan Services team is part of the wider Fidelity Workplace Investing function providing recordkeeping and administration services to clients to help them manage their employee equity compensation plans as well as providing their employees with easy access to view and manage their shares. Fidelity Stock Plan Services is one of the fastest growing, most dynamic and innovative small business lines within the Fidelity enterprise and is core to our continued success. We are a key lead generator and revenue driver for other associated areas of Fidelity, as well as a central incubator for new methodologies, products and services.

Fidelity has been providing stock plan services to corporations since 2000 and is an area that remains a key strategic focus for the business and we continue to invest for the future. Currently, with around 600 clients and 2.4m participants globally, the Stock Plan Services business is a dynamic one with a number of functional teams across operations, marketing, communications, service delivery, finance, and client management.

The Stock Plan Services Sales team is responsible for growing clients, members, and assets in markets outside of the United States. The Solution Consultant will partner with Account Executives, Managing Directors, and Product & Service Consultants to win new Global Stock Plan Services clients. You will be responsible for performing a comprehensive analysis of a client’s equity compensation requirements for plan participants and plan sponsors. This includes reviewing company filings; annual reports, SEC Filings (20-F, 10K, S-8), and plan documents for single or multi-product requests and successfully demonstrating Fidelity’s solutions during the sales or re-bid processes. The role will consult to position our product offering to meet the client’s needs.

About your role

The Associate Director Sales, Stock Plan Services is responsible for assisting Sales in the pursuit of both private and public companies for Fidelity’s Stock Plan Services administration business. The core focus is on driving growth, cultivating sales leads through the ongoing solution development of Fidelity’s offering and enhancing the Fidelity brand across all Stock Plan Services markets. In addition to playing an integral role in the Stock Plan Services business, partnering closely with other businesses across the Fidelity enterprise is fundamental. The role requires you to prospect and build relationships with private and publicly traded companies with equity plan values of more than £50m who are interested in Fidelity’s equity administration and brokerage services. Through your prospecting and relationship-building efforts, you will hold consultative sales presentations in collaboration with other team members, and lead in helping find solutions for your prospective clients which are then mapped against Fidelity’s proposition.

The Associate Director Sales, Stock Plan Services will deliver value through strategizing and delivering compelling demonstrations of Fidelity’market-leadingng capabilities. They will collaborate with leaders across multiple functions to build consistent corporate client and employee experiences. Through utilising their experience and skills as a Sales professional they will improve the skills of others and encourage the team to improve their processes. The successful individual will be a visible and credible presence in the industry to enhance both the Stock Plan Services and wider Fidelity brands, as well as being viewed as an expert.

About you- Experience in B2B sales- Strong knowledge and experience of equity-based compensation- ICSA in share plans is preferred- Effective skills in time management, project management organisation and prioritisation- Ability to develop creative solutions, including understanding both the financial and operational impacts to the business within both our standard and bespoke business models-
- Ideally previous Financial Services industry experience- Ability to demonstrate exceptional skills in a sales specific environment, including, presentations and negotiations- Ability to work independently and proactively- Exceptional self-awareness and a proven track record of self-progression / improvement
