**Project Manager Scottish Water frame work**
Hays Civil & Infrastructure are recruiting for our client. My client is a leading Services Water Division are the leading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK. They employ C.2800 people across the UK and we are lookingfor ambitious individuals who are keen to join their business. They are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to work within the Scottish water framework.
**As the Project Manager your duties and responsibilities will include**:
- Working within a multi-disciplinary team on projects primarily in the water & waste water, power distribution and petrochemical industries
- Responsible for project delivery and managing the team
- Responsible for the finances of the project
- Attend and contribute to internal and external reviews and progress meetings
- Participate in collaboration meetings with other engineering disciplines and professionals
- Review of contracts & specifications
- Procurement and support for subcontract procurement based on detailed specifications
- Record and Review all project information
- Continual professional development including professional registration is encouraged and actively supported
**Skills & Knowledge requirements**:
- Experience in water industry would be advantageous
- Computer literate with a good understanding of appropriate software packages
- Knowledge and skills in the in the planning, specification, design procurement and commissioning of projects
- A good financial background in relation to projects
- A good Knowledge of NEC3 contracts
- Possess sound knowledge of current legislation and able to work in accordance with QA and H&S procedures
- Able to integrate well into a team as well as work independently
- Experienced level of decision making and ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands
- Strong communication skills all levels with the client, suppliers, contractors and design team
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Must be able to plan and prioritise work load effectively
- Excellent client service focus
- Flexible approach to work
