Senior Administrator
Brook Street is currently recruiting for a Senior Sponsorship Officer to work for a well-established UK based organisation, supporting over 30,000 orphans and their families in 14 countries. We support those who cannot provide for themselves, delivering sustainable,long-term solutions to those in need. We offer regular food parcels, cover fees for education and healthcare and support orphanages abroad.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY DUTIES
- Manage the process of donor feedback through regular meetings and creating work plans with field offices for timely submission and upload of relevant reports.
- Ensure annual orphan reports and other necessary feedback information is received from partner offices and thereafter generating donor report within the system to be forwarded to respective donors.
- Assist in requesting and collating Sponsorship Programme information from partner offices which could be used by Marketing and Fundraising departments to help promote the Orphan Sponsorship programme.
- Working with delivery partners
- Lead on timely and accurate Orphan Sponsorship payments to partner offices.
- Co-ordinate any training or capacity building exercises for partner offices.
- Support the Orphan Sponsorship Manager in the distribution of additional support for orphans beyond the standard provision of the Sponsorship Programme.
- Assist in providing technical assistance for proposals/reviews involving orphan and child related projects.
- Donor relations
- Work closely with the Supporter Relations Department to ensure on time, professional and appropriate correspondence to all Sponsorship Programme enquiries.
- To support the team in ensuring day-to-day tasks and duties are carried out efficiently and in line with company procedures.
- Ability to learn about projects and campaigns and describe/explain them to donors.
- Manage relationships with institutional donors supporting large numbers of orphans
- Administration
- Regular housekeeping of all records and sponsorship reports on our CRM system.
- To delegate tasks to the Sponsorship Officers/Assistants and ensure they are completed to a high standard.
- Lead on training and quality assurance of all temporary staff within the sponsorship team and support staff in other teams where required.
- To provide administrative support in all donations and sponsorship processing related work.
- To work collaboratively with all internal teams, departments, and supporters.
- To comply with all policies, procedures, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post.
