In this role you will be required to provide flexible day to day cover for short or long term placements within nurseries across the local area. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your knowledge and experience further whilst having the flexibility around your current commitments.

**Your role**:

- Assist in creating a safe and stimulating environment for children
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime and activities
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and maintaining cleanliness of the nursery
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum
- Monitor children's behavior and communicate any concerns to the Nursery Manager
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and incidents
- Foster positive relationships with parents and provide regular updates on their child's development

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Level 2 or 3 Childcare & Education or above
- Previous experience working with young children
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
