**Summary: Customer Account Representative**
The role of the Customer Account Representative is to build and maintain customer relationships and ensure customer retention through the highest levels of communication and customer service. They are the key link between the company and the customer, andact as the single point of contact for all queries.
You will be responsible for managing the end to end customer journey for their allocation of accounts; this includes, but is not limited to, the administrative functions of proessing RFQ’s, sales order and invoices, recording weekly KPI’s.
The CAR is expected to be proactive and follow up on the progress of their customer orders by liaising internally with the relevant stakeholders and feedback accurately and timely information to the customer. They are responsible for growing the relationshipwith customers and presenting key business opportunities to the Customer Account Leader (CAL).
**Responsibilities: Customer Account Representative**
- Process and monitor all inbound requests and queries, following up with active communication to support the customers needs.
- Understand the operations of customers including fleet/ fleet sizes in order to tailor products and services.
- Build and maintain a strong working relationship with various stakeholders and work with the Finance Manager to ensure customer accounts are in credit and pre-requisites are maintained.
- Suggest new initiatives to improve the customer journey and make informed decisions that are believed to be right based on insight and expertise.
- Provide support and cover for other CAR’s, ensuring all customers receive the same level of service.
- Participate in daily catch ups in order to relay key information back to the CAL.
- Provide the CAL with the required account performance in order to assist with product reviews, production scheduling, stock levels and sales data.
- Foster a seamless positive teamwork environment and be a team-player.
**Skills / Experience: Customer Account Representative**
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Knowledge and experience of customer service principles, techniques, systems, and standards
- Excellent communication skills, a positive and professional outlook and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Must speak, read and write English.
- Must be computer literate and have experience using Outlook, Word and Excel.
- It is essential for a CAR to have what is commonly known as a growth mindset and can demonstrate high levels of consistent attention to detail. They have to be adaptable to change and see challenges and setbacks as a motivator to increase effort, learningand business performance.
- The individual needs to be driven by high standards of customer service and demonstrate constant willingness to go the extra mile for internal and external customers.
