A lovely nursery in CM15 is looking for a Room Leader to come and join their friendly family run day nursery. Our main aim is to provide the highest standard of childcare, not only for the benefit of your children but also for your peace of mind. We understand that you will be putting your trust in us therefore it is paramount importance to us, that we provide a safe, friendly, loving and stimulating environment in which your children can develop and grow.

The nursery is looking for ideally full-time hours You will work in the pre-school room and take on a group of key children, and work alongside a team within the room, to provide safe, high-quality education and care for young children, which meets the individual needs of children attending the setting.

**What we need from you**:

- Level 3 qualification in childcare or higher
- Experience in a nursery setting 1 year +
- Commitment
- Passion to deliver outstanding childcare
- Ability to work within a team
- Broad knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding

**Your duties will include**:

- Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
- Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
- Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
- Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis
