**What is the role**

A crucial role within the continually evolving Studio department. You will be a go to for the technical and creative vision of the photography team. Working closely with the Lead Retoucher, this role will be driven by producing quality imagery, fuelled by innovation. Reporting into the Creative Studio Manager, the main factors of this role will be to be accountable for all aspects of the Studio photography and lighting with a view to continually improve daily outputs and encourage new shooting techniques.

**What you will do**
- Lead a small team of photographers and be accountable for the delivery of high quality imagery, daily
- Work closely with the Lead Retouch to regularly review studio imagery with a view to push creative boundaries and improve studio output
- Keep up to date with the latest industry studio equipment and lighting and ensure all studio sets are running accordingly
- Accountable for continuity across all studio sets to ensure mínimal and simple retouch process (working with Lead Retouch)
- Deliver regular competitor reviews and feed into Creative Studio Manger
- Strategic planning for future growth of the Photography Team
- Responsible for all Photography KPIs
- Be the first point of contact for all Photography related queries
- Keep diversity and authenticity at the forefront of the team
- include new training where needed to certify the team can accurately shoot all skin types with the appropriate lighting
- Responsible for all recruitment within the Photography team and the teams personal growth and development
- Work closely with the Retouch Lead to design concepts for creative focus shoots
- Give visibility to the rest of the department of studio imagery daily and continually review this process
- Work with the Retouch Lead to streamline the file upload system and get imagery on required platforms in the quickest times - without compromising quality
- Produce and regularly update a photography shoot guide for the team below to follow inc. freelance teams
- Demonstrate excellent brand awareness by identifying areas that need a review

- Experience with Admin uploading systems or similar - desirable
- Experience with Elinchrom lighting - Desireable
- Retouch knowledge - desirable
- Highly motivated with a desire to deliver
- Be agile in problem solving with a can do approach - solutions driven
- Proven leadership skills of a small team, that is authentic and supports the voice of the company
- Strong organisational skills
- Able to manage time effectively and prioritise
- Ability to recognise behaviours in order to support in resolving conflicts, manage stress and improve working relationships amongst the team
- Be flexible at working in various areas of the department
- A good communicator - on all levels
- Strong creative eye/vison
