**What you’ll be doing**:
Based at Spanish Place, St James Parish, this pivotal role will involve working closely alongside other staff members, providing administrative and office management support to the Parish Priest and his team.

We are recruiting an Intern to work in Spanish Place parish who will undertake a variety of duties, including being responsible for volunteers involved in parish activities, as well as parishioners visiting the office. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist the volunteer sacristan, standing in for them when they are unavailable, therefore serving at Mass as required.

You will also be responsible for assisting with the administrative elements of the catechetical programmes, and if appropriate, aiding in the delivery of the programmes. You will also gain experience in the digital side of the parish, but operating the live-stream facility and monitoring the content of the parish website.

**What we’re looking for**:
You’ll love working in a parishioner-facing role, and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbally to aid with your work in the parish office. A clear and demonstratable knowledge of the Catholic faith is paramount, especially as you may be working closely with our Catechists, providing support to them administratively and potentially with delivery.
