Qualified Childcare Worker Practitioner

We are currently recruiting for a bubbly and enthusiastic individual to join our staff team in Bellshill.
To work as part of a team ensuring a safe, stimulating and caring environment for children 0-5 years of age. To ensure that all Hyde n Seek policies and procedures are adhered to and to undertake any other duties as directed by your Senior or Manager. Applicants must hold a HNC or Level 3 SVQ in Early Years environment.
Duties;
1. To provide a safe, stimulating play/care and educational environment for babies and children attending the various services of the Childcare Centre.
2. To ensure that a high quality play/care/educational environment is maintained at all times.
3. To follow Hyde n Seek Policies and Procedures.
4. To follow a Curriculum Framework for children 3-5year, Birth to Three Framework and Child at the Centre documentation.
5. To work as part of a team.
6. To be part of a Keyworker System building up relationships with individual children and their families and working with parents to monitor their Child's progress in the Nursery and at home.
7. To support, encourage, mentor and provide on-the-job training for Trainees on placement.
8. To ensure that all necessary day care registration forms, accident forms, planning sheets, outstanding consent forms, observation sheets etc are complete.
9. To carry out First Aid procedures in the event of an emergency.
10. To be welcoming and friendly to Parents when they are dropping off and picking up from the Nursery.
11. To be responsible to your Manager.
12. To take part in in-service training/outside training courses as appropriate.
13. To be prepared to work with a constantly changing and developing environment.
14. To undertake any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Nursery Manager, Area Manager or Directors of Hyde n Seek Nurseries.
