**About the team**: Digital Communities Wales: Digital Confidence, Health and Well-being is a Welsh Government procured digital inclusion programme. It supports organisations and groups who work with the public in Wales to think about how to increase digital inclusion to ensure that everyone in Wales can benefit from being online. As a programme, we work to ensure that everyone has the skills, access, and motivation to be a confident user of the internet and digital technology. You will be part of a pan Wales team, working with colleagues who carry out a wide range of responsibilities as a part of a wider delivery team working towards established outcomes.

**Purpose of the role**:To develop and deliver training and support which intends to improve the skills, confidence and motivation of front-line staff and volunteers across the public, private and third sectors, in order to improve levels of Digital skills and Inclusion in Wales.

**Location**: This role will involve travel across West Wales and will be based from home. Business Mileage will be reimbursed.

**About you**:
**Qualifications**:
You will have a good standard of general education.

**Knowledge/Experience**:
You will have a detailed knowledge of a range of training techniques to engage a variety of different learning styles.

You will have a good awareness of digital technology and its use as an engaging training aid.

You will need knowledge of the digital inclusion agenda and the ability to support communities, organisation, and citizens to fully engage online, training can be provided in relation to this.

You will also have an awareness of the UK’s essential digital skills framework.

**Skills**:
You will have developed skills in engaging and working with people. This includes public speaking, delivering training and workshops to support both groups and individuals, Virtually and face to face.

You will have developed communication skills and basic creative problem-solving skills.

You will ideally have developed skills in the use of MS PowerPoint, but training can be provided in relation to this if necessary.

You will have developed skills in the creation of training materials, including session outlines, creating presentations, and producing all other training outputs.

You will have basic skills and demonstrable abilities to adjust and adapt to changes and be willing to develop personal skills and knowledge

You will have developed skills in ICT and an ability to use various digital tools to demonstrate the benefit of technology to our clients, although training can be provided in relation to this.

All staff are expected to be able to work independently and as part of a team and organise work to meet multiple deadlines, build effective relationships and use MS Office and online meeting tools.

The ability to communicate fluently in Welsh is desirable but not essential for this role.
