The housekeeping team who looks after Leasowe Castle are looking for a team member to help them in our Laundry, with some housekeeping work involved.

**Duties and Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
- Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
- Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer and place in clean linen carts.
- Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in load.
- Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine
- Maintain accurate records of items laundered.

**Key Requirements**:

- Skills and Experience
- Previous experience of commercial or hotel laundry
- Ability to work both as part of a team or unsupervised.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexibility
- Full valid driving license

Please note this role requires the availability to work from 6pm - 11pm 5 days a week, which will involve some weekends.

**Salary**: £7.90-£10.42 per hour
