More detail about the role This is an exciting and interesting opportunity to join the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (RDUH) working on the Eastern services site in Exeter, as a Band 4 Dietetic Assistant Practitioner in Head and Neck. This post will focus on supporting patients with head and neck cancer (oncology and surgery) along their cancer journey from diagnosis and throughout treatment. The post holder will work closely with the Head and Neck Oncology Dietitians plus Specialist Nurses, Speech and Language Therapists, Radiotherapists and Doctors.

RDUH is the first Trust to implement an electronic patient system (EPIC) across both acute and community services. The post holder should have good IT skills, good communication skills, be organised and have a flexible approach to work. The post-holder will help support training of junior staff, students and other healthcare professionals alongside the Dietitians. Caseloads will be flexible and at times may involve the provision of service to other acute areas of the Trust and may also require working across 7 days.
