Research Assistant

**About The Role**:
Motability Operations are currently recruiting for a Research Executive to join our team in London on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Research Assistant, you will contribute to and support the delivery of our consumer research strategy. This role will enable the team to deliver a regular stream of high-quality customer research that guides the business. This role is a mix of project management; communication; coordination and hands on research.
You will be responsible for co-ordinating our packed research agenda, bringing project management expertise to ensure we have a continuous schedule of activity lined up and that as a team we deliver on time, across a variety of research channels. You will have the opportunity to get involved in a range of research activities, including moderating qualitative research on our customer community, delivering on a project to measure customer touchpoints and optimise customer experience. You will also work with the team to produce engaging communications to recruit customers to research activities and share outputs and insights generated. The whole purpose of the research team is to deliver customer understanding and ensure the customer’s voice is heard as we develop the Motability proposition to meet customer needs both today and in the future.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide project management support to the research team to ensure that all research projects are kept on schedule and on budget, with a constant pipeline of new activity planned
- Deliver engaging communications to ensure customers want to participate in our research projects - this could be recruiting specific customer segments in relevant projects all the way through to newsletters sharing back with customers what we have learnt.
- Ensure that our research schedule is shared internally so operational teams are aware of all research activity and act as a first point of liaison for any customer queries on research.
- Support our qualitative research agenda: scheduling; managing and moderating activities on our online community and assisting with digital ethnography.
- Provide coordination and support to ensure the wider business has easy access to research outputs.
**About You**:
- You should have a natural curiosity in understanding our customers, prospects and their needs
- You should have excellent organisation skills, be passionate about project management and be excited about managing multiple projects simultaneously
- A keen eye for detail; excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An interest in effective communications to engage internal and external stakeholders
- Strong collaborative focus - both within the research team and the wider business
- You should have great people skills and be comfortable talking to our customers for qualitative research online or on the phone
- A can-do attitude and an ability to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines.
**Minimum criteria**:
- Previous relevant research or project management experience on either client side or agency side
- A keen eye for detail and sharp project management experience
- Experience in achieving targets and results, focused on organising and bringing people and resources together to achieve objectives
**About The Company**:
