De-Light care and support Ltd is a care business based in Canterbury, Kent. We are professional and demanding. We provide housing and support services to young people 16 - 17 years of age.

De-Light care and support Ltd is looking for a dedicated and passionate person to join our team. We are looking for a Support Worker who is self-motivated, reliable, and willing to work hard. We are looking for both full time and part time staff. As well as Live In support workers.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Assisting clients with accessing their accounts
- Daily contact with Service Users when on duty
- Support work to be completed on each Service User one a week and copy sent to social worker and manager. (Electronic copy to be saved on system)
- Cleaning and tidying up of all communal areas including the offices daily
- Support Service Users with shopping, registering with local GP, Dentist, Optician, Education, Training and leisure amenities
- Clearing our empty rooms, laundry, cleaning and re-set for new Service User
- Weekly health and safety check of schemes
- Fortnight room checks to ensure health and safety compliance. (This is to be done with another staff member, not alone)
- Lone work policy to be adhered to
- Collaborative work with other professionals, e.g Social Workers, Health Practitioners, Educationists, Charity Organisations etc.

**Salary**: £19,000.00-£21,000.00 per year

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- DBS (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day shift (preferred)
- Night shift (preferred)
- Overnight shift (preferred)
