**Receptionist/ Administrator - 10hrs**
Hornchurch Healthcare is a growing and ambitious practice committed to providing high quality patient care whilst fostering a safe and fulfilling working environment. We are looking for a friendly, empathetic and collaborative individual to join our team.
The role includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
- To be the first point of contact for patients, reflecting the ethos and values of the practice with every interaction - namely, to act with integrity and show respect, putting our patients at the forefront and displaying a sincere commitment to offering the best possible care.
- Triaging patients’ calls - signposting patients to the most appropriate service in a calm, professional and reassuring manner.
- Processing repeat prescriptions in a prompt fashion.
- To support the practice in achieving its targets for QOF; for instance, the booking and recalling of patients for annual reviews.
- Answering the phones in a timely manner, ensuring that incoming calls are covered at all times and that messages are recorded and conveyed to the appropriate recipient without delay.
- Scanning documents to patients’ records - making certain that all data is accurate and up-to-date, whilst preserving patient confidentiality.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hornchurch, RM11 1XA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
