**Testing Technician**

**Kettering**

**Hours - Full time Monday to Friday**

**Salary: £19,701 - £20,904 per annum DOE**

About The Role...

As a Testing Technician you will be responsible for flammability testing. You will be required to conduct routine flammability testing submitted by customers, to ensure compliance with legislation and quality standards, whilst promoting the company's brand,in order to deliver on the key responsibilities of the role, which include:

- Testing flammability samples to British, European and International standards
- Recording of results on paper or electronically in preparation for transfer to test reports
- Prepare test samples prior to testing
- Maintain tidiness of the testing areas
- Maintain sample storage

About You..
- You must be highly organised, enthusiastic and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be able to accurately follow testing procedures and methods
- You should be competent in the use of Microsoft Office products, in particular MS Excel and MS Word.
- You will need to have a keen eye for detail and be methodical when making electronic entries onto systems and when completing paperwork
- You will need to demonstrate excellent time management skills and to possess a flexible approach to working being able to respond to changing deadlines and priorities.
