**Payroll Assistant, York**
A Chartered Accountancy Practice in York is recruiting for a payroll assistant to provide payroll services to their clients. Study support towards a payroll-related qualification can be offered.
Responsibilities will include:
- Full range of payroll duties including the processing of annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly payrolls.
- Calculating pay elements and deductions.
- Processing Real Time Information (RTI) submissions to HMRC as required.
- Assisting with our clients’ compliance with the pension auto-enrolment rules.
- End of Year processing and reconciliations including the end of year RTI submissions and issuing the forms P60.
- Addressing payroll related queries.
- Building and maintaining client relationships.
**Requirements**:
- You will ideally have a minimum of 1 years experience working in a payroll function.
- You will need to be able to work on your own initiative, have good organisation skills and have an ability to meet deadlines, whilst being able to work as part of the wider payroll team.
- Study support towards a payroll-related qualification would be considered.
