Farnham, United Kingdom University for the Creative Arts Full time

With a good academic background, you will have previous demonstrable experience of working in an administrative environment, preferably in a similar field. You will be customer-focussed and confident defining and working accurately with large sets of complex data. You will feel comfortable providing technical support and advice to academic colleagues and supporting the creation of written guidance and procedural documentation.

The post requires a high level of attention to detail with strong organisational, liaison and communication skills. You will be confident, able to positively challenge accepted norms, seek new ways of working and be solutions focused. At the same time though, you

should be able to build strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders, able to understand their needs and always strive to deliver an exceptional service.

You will need a logical approach to problem solving and the ability to work under pressure to immovable deadlines, with a flexible approach to work.

As you will be working within a small, busy and dedicated team, previous experience of timetable processes and systems would be hugely advantageous, as would a general love of using reasoning skills to resolving puzzles and problems.

At UCA, creativity and innovation are at the heart of what we do. Our legacy of educating eager and passionate artists, makers and thinkers runs back almost 160 years, and today we’re helping shape a global future that supports and nourishes talent worldwide.

Our campuses across Surrey and Kent are vibrant communities, each specialising in different areas of the creative industries. We are also home to a thriving research hub, with academic experts and fellows leading the way in research on sustainability, design, têxtiles, animation, history and culture, and more.

Are you ready to share your passion for creativity with the next generation of innovators? If so, we want to hear from you.
