**Location**: London

**What You'll be Doing Each Day**:
This role is sitting in Trade Finance team within Institutional Banking Department. It will need to identify opportunities by proactively promoting trade finance products with corporate clients and FIs (including HO, domestic/overseas offices), and to assistthe credit procedure throughout the process.

It will also assist the development of products and services in the trade finance area, and manage financial crime risks relating to trade finance in the Bank in line with Bank’s policy and regulatory requirement.

**Your Main Responsibilities**:

- To originate potential business opportunities from corporate and FI clients, by working with relationship coverage teams e.g. Corporate Banking etc.
- To establish extensive business contacts within the specialist market, act as primary contact point with customers and maintain regular dialogue;
- To manage the execution process of trade finance transaction.
- To assist development of new product and service in the trade finance area;
- To identify potentially suspicious transactions related to financial crime risks, to help implement the AML functions;
- To support to review the trade finance policy and procedures;
- To assist financial crime risk assessment for trade finance services with appropriate weight to money laundering risk, sanction risk as well as other AML relevant risk;
- Other tasks as directed by the Department Head.

**The Skills You'll Need to Succeed**:

- Familiar with trade finance products in primary and secondary markets for both corporate and FI clients;
- Understands the compliance requirments in trade finance, the Wolfsberg Trade Finance Principles and FATF practice;
- An extensive network of contacts within the specialist market.
- Relevant client management experience, necessary in performing the role;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in dealing with both junior and senior level counterparts and staff;
- Ability to analyse and research information;
- Fluent in Mandarin and English

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: 9-5 with flexibility due to the nature of the job.
