**Opportunity Profile**
Join our established HR team as a Recruitment Advisor, where you'll play a pivotal role in our talent acquisition process. Your responsibilities will include coordinating recruitment activities, ensuring seamless interview preparation and participation, and facilitating effective communication between hiring managers and applicants. From requisition to onboarding, you'll oversee the administrative processes with precision and efficiency. Moreover, you'll be instrumental in challenging biases, fostering an inclusive and diverse workforce.
The position will be based in Washington with the opportunity for flexible and hybrid work models. Travel will be required on a regular basis to other operating locations as specified by the Company to support resourcing activities.
**Key Tasks**
- Liaise with HR Manager and Hiring Manager to identify recruitment needs in line with budget plan.
- Ensure all active vacancies have been approved appropriately.
- Build resourcing plans including timeframes for delivery.
- Support in the design of job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements.
- Provide guidance and/or training to managers on interview techniques.
- Determine selection criteria and associated scoring (if appropriate)
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments (if appropriate) and participate in interviews.
- Ensure appropriate approvals are in place prior to any formal offer being made
- Managing background and reference checks
- Ensure proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork (including Contracts of Employment) is completed promptly and accurately.
- Ensure new starters had been appropriately added to the HR database.
- Ensure relevant new starter information has been communicated with relevant departments
- Identify and attend job fairs and recruitment events (including graduate events)
- Support employer branding initiatives
- Produce role and/ or monthly reports relating to key metrics
- Work closely with management on all diversity initiatives involving recruitment to ensure fairness in hiring practices.
**About You**
To be considered for the role you will need to have.
- Previous experience in talent acquisition and onboarding processes
- Contract negation skills
- Previous experience working within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent skills with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working within the utilities sector (desirable)
- Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally
- Influencing skills
- Planning and organisation skills
- Flexibility
- Reliability
- Attention to detail.
