**About us**

Bagwell Farm Touring Park is a quiet, friendly touring park on the Jurassic Coast Road 1 mile West of Chickerell. We have pitches for tents, caravans and motorvans and are open all year round.

We are proud of our clean facilities and our close connection to nature.

We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance team member to help keep our award-winning holiday park in great condition. The busy team plan and carry out scheduled maintenance and improvements during the quieter months and react to breakages and carry out smaller repairs during the busier months.

You will work in a team to keep the park running smoothly and all facilities well maintained and always spotless. This will include a diverse range of jobs including:
Assisting with the caravan storage yard, towing caravans to and from pitches.

Inspecting and maintaining grounds, facilities and equipment - ( buildings and contents, playground equipment, turf pitches, vehicles and tools) and carrying out cleaning, painting, repairs, maintenance and upgrades)

Being the recycling "champion" inspiring others to upcycle and to separate waste efficiently.

You will work with the park manager and maintenance team leader to identify and prioritise improvements to the park facilities. Small projects are carried out in-house and larger works by working with our regular contractors.

While this is primarily a daytime job, weekend working is essential especially during school holidays. Overtime is not usual but the occasional early start or late finish might be required.

Essential skills and qualifications
- Ability to use and maintain hand and power tools
- Ability to safely carry out simple plumbing repairs
- Ability to safely carry out simple electrical repairs
- Knowledge of your repair limits and understanding of when to call a professional
- An enthusiasm for sustainability and wildlife.
- Ability to tow a caravan and being able to reverse it into a small space precisely

Desirable skills (training can be given)
- Tractor driving
- Managing a hot tub to commercial standards
- Reviewing and updating risk assessments

**Salary**: £25,350.00-£26,900.00 per year
