A new instruction for a Credit Controller with an established client and key employer in the area.
The beauty with this position is that the client is offering hybrid working with 50% on site and 50% working from home
The UK Finance team head count is 16 and the Credit Control/Accounts Payable section is a team of 6. We are therefore, looking for a team player who is personable and capable, with the ability to deal efficiently and politely with customer related queries and who is also happy to liaise with internal colleagues as and when required.
You must be conversant with Word & Excel with any knowledge of using SAP helpful although not considered essential as this can be learned.
**The Highlights of the Package**:
The role is presented on a fixed term contract for 12 months
Attractive salary available depending on experience.
Hours of work: 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am - 4.30pm on Friday
Hybrid working: 50:50

**Responsibilities**:
This is a traditional Credit Control position in the true sense of the word and will involve:
Allocation to sales ledger pf payments received from clients (both cheque and electronic payments and reconciliation of customer accounts)
Recording of cheques received and preparation of documentation relating to banking
Obtaining customer credit/debit notes
Responding to any queries regarding accounts receivable
Issuing of monthly customer statements
Production of credit notes and invoices relating to items other than sale of goods
Assisting in the preparation of schedule of Promotional Accruals
Reconciliation of customer cash discounts
Assist in credit limit and credit term changes when required
General administrative duties within the department
Production of monthly inter-company group reconciliation (spreadsheet for Accounting Manager)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
